SOCIETY FOR CONSCIOUS LIVING
1. Introduction to DREAM ANALYSIS
(in English) by Dr. Art T. Funkhouser, Jungian psychotherapist from
Bern, Switzerland
on Tuesday, 13 May 2003, 17:30 in F1036
Free for Members, contribution fee for guests 5 Euro
Dream work is currently enjoying a renaissance in the west. After being
suppressed for centuries or then more or less confined to the
psychotherapeutic practice, there is now a growing interest in dreams
and learning to work with them. In the US, this was pioneered by people
like Patricia Garfield, Montague Ullman, Calvin Hall and Robert van de
Castle, among many others. In this talk, Mr. Funkhouser will present
some orientation concerning the current state of dreamwork and also
describe some basic techniques for doing dream work with a partner or in
a group.
Art Funkhouser was born in 1940 in Indiana and grew up in Oklahoma. He
has lived in Switzerland since 1973. His first degrees were in physics
(MIT, '62) (coherent optics) and he was involved with the early work in
holography (Univ. of Mich, '67). In 1973 he began his training to be a
psychotherapist at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich, which he
completed in 1981. Since then he has had a private practice as a
therapist in Bern where, in addition to seeing clients, he leads a
Thursday evening dream group. From 1989 to 1999 he led a seminar in
dream interpretation at the C. G. Jung Institute near Zurich. He has
led workshops in dreamwork in Switzerland, Australia and the U.S. For
the past two years, he was the co-director of a research project into
the effects of dream-telling, supported by a grant from the Swiss
National Science Foundation (http://www.puk.unibe.ch/mb/research.html).
He is currently serving a three-year term as a board member of the
Association for the Study of Dreams (http://www.asdreams.org).
2. Introduction to EMF ˆ Electro-Magnetic-Field Balancing Technique:
The Universal Calibration Lattice ˆ An evolutionary leap on an
energetic level (in English) by TiaRa and Robert
on Tuesday, 20 May 2003, 17:30 in F1036
Free for Members, contribution fee for guests 5 Euro
The EMF Balancing Technique® is a system of precise movements, in an
exact sequence facilitated with the „Human to Human Connection‰. This
technique works specifically with The Universal Calibration Lattice
(UCL), our electromagnetic field surrounding our bodies, to balance,
strengthen, and recalibrate this energetic structure. Each part of the
UCL has a purpose and function and just as the physical body enjoys
activities that strengthen and balance, the UCL also benefits from such
attention. The EMF Balancing Technique® accelerates one‚s evolution,
assists to expand one‚s consciousness, releases restricting physical and
emotional patterns, and accelerates one‚s ability to co-create with The
Universe. The EMF Balancing Technique® and The Universal Calibration
Lattice are gifts from Spirit that work together with the magnetic grid
alignments just completed by The Kryon to assist Humanity in the
Ascension process.
TiaRa and Robert found their ways, from opposite ends of the Earth, to
the small island of Kauai, Hawaii to renew their relationship. TiaRa
came to the relationship with a long and varied array of experiences in
working with the subtle energies. She is an Integrative Kinesiologist,
IKZ and has worked as an Aura Soma practitioner, Reiki Master and
teacher, and intuitive counsel. Robert‚s only energy experience, prior
to EMF, was playing electric guitar. Both TiaRa and Robert have also
brought extensive experiences from the business world that serve them
well in presenting and teaching this powerful Technique.

5. AMMA (Mata Amritanandamayi) is described as one of the leading
spiritual entities in nowadays India - many consider her as a (Hindu)
saint, others might see in her an avatar. She does not really teach
through words, but heals through embracing people, one by one, which is
a long process both in India and during her international travels, since
her events are attended by crowds. During the last few years she has
been as close as Munich and Switzerland. She is also the initiator of
many welfare projects in India and therefore has a strong social impact
in her country.
The 3 events listed underneath are meant as a preparation to the
particular aspect of spirituality Amma represents as well as for
fund-raising in this connection.
1) Giorgio sings for AMMA
Spiritual song evening on 16 May 2003 at 7:30 pm at Yogazentrum GANESHA,
1090 Vienna, Alserbachstrasse 2.
Giorgio was singing at the Esoteric Society a few years ago, and
everybody who listened to him then was moved and impressed - he has a
beautiful voice.
2) AMMA's long-term student SHUBAMRITA from India is coming to Vienna on
the 21st of June 2003 and will speak on that day at 7:30 pm at the
Shiatsu school Shambala, in the 8th district, Lammgasse 6 (a little side
street of Florianigasse, not far from the Rathaus);
3) Full-day Retreat on Sunday, 22 June 2003 with Shubamrita, at the
practice centre of Dr. Elisabeth Rüth-Dressel, 1020 Vienna,
Ausstellungsstrasse 1/14.
In case of interest, please call either Elisabeth, tel. 485 10 02, or
